For more than four decades, the Law Office of Danny Shepard has served the people, families, farmers, and businesses of Southwest Georgia with practical legal guidance rooted in experience, integrity, and community. Since opening his private practice in 1978, Danny Shepard has built a reputation throughout Colquitt, Miller County, and the surrounding region for providing straightforward legal counsel across a wide range of matters.
Deeply connected to the community he serves, Danny is a graduate of Miller County High School and has dedicated much of his career not only to private practice, but also to public service. He has served as Municipal Court Judge for the City of Colquitt since 1980 and previously served more than 20 years as State Court Judge for Miller County, where he now holds Emeritus status. He also served as County Attorney for Miller County for two decades and has represented the Miller County Development Authority for approximately 40 years.
Over the years, the firm has assisted clients with real estate transactions, estate planning, probate matters, business law, agricultural law, litigation, personal injury claims, wrongful death cases, and traffic defense. With decades of courtroom experience and a strong understanding of local and state law, the firm continues to provide trusted legal representation with a focus on personal attention and long-term relationships.
